Before I get started here are my specs:

Mobo: Asus rog Strix z390-e gaming

Cpu: i7-8700

Gpu: Asus rog Strix rtx 2080 super 8gbs

Ram: Gskill trident z royal 3200mhz 16gb x2

Psu: Corsair RM 850x

This is my first full PC build by the way that's why I'm so dumb. So when I restart my PC it often goes into a restarting loop where the motherboard light comes on for the ram then it just restarts and continues that same loop until I shut the psu off. I've tried reseating all the cables and I've tried one ram stick in each slot with each stick and that seems to work sometimes but when both are in the motherboard it does the restarting loop with the light on the motherboard coming on that says it's the ram.

1. One or more devices connected to your computer may prevent it from starting.

In this case, turn off the computer and disconnect all peripheral devices from the computer.

- For a central unit, leave only the power supply, the keyboard, the mouse and the screen.

Turn on the computer and check if it started

2. If you added a component to the computer, it may prevent it from starting properly.

Turn off the computer, then remove the added component (a memory card, a second hard drive, an SDD, a Wi-Fi card, a graphics card, etc.) and restart the computer.

I hope somthing can help you.

Can you be more specific about "sometimes it works with one stick of ram "? Does it work with one specific ram stick? Does it work once and then doesn't?
