Sound problem (No sound)

dk why but when I reinstall windows my computer dont have any sound
My sound card hardware ID: PCI\VEN_125D&DEV_1988&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_12
(I have to use a sound card bc my onboard sound is dead)

What version of Windows are you using? Have you checked the sound card manufacturer's website to see if you are using a compatible driver version?

Are you connecting your headphones or speakers to the sound card on the back of your computer, instead of the motherboard?
