eMMC VS Normal SSD

Think of it like a sd card built into the board, its cheap, but slower than most other ssds. Still normally faster than hdds.

Well, actually they end up about at the same performance level. I've owned 2 laptops with eMMC storage, it's about the same experience.

 

Of course, since I have a tendency to drop things, I'm quote glad they didn't use mechanical storage.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.
