Hello, first post here.

I was building my new PC and I plugged in my USB 3.0 Header, pulled it out to do cable management and somehow managed to break both the header connector itself and the Int_A P1_SSRX - pin.

Corsair is willing to send me a new IO panel but I'm not expecting an RMA from MSI (although I will try) so I just have a few questions.

1. Is it still safe to plug in?

2. If so what are the drawbacks of not having that pin working?

3. Is there any way to fix this or should I just suck it up and deal with not having front USB 3.0.

There are 2 IntA_P1_SSRX pins. But generally speaking it seems that one of your USB3.0 ports might not work properly, or might have issues as according to a document from intel this pin is responsible for the Port1 SuperSpeed Rx + or - which could be a data line but don't take my word for it. Whether it is safe to plug in or not I do not know, but nothing too bad can happen, worst case scenario you destroy the USB 3.0 header on your motherboard even more. To fix this you can try to bend the pin back if it's bend or solder it back in. Or RMA it to MSI
