ASUS TN vs IPS

Recently built a computer and looking for a 144hz+ monitor and can’t decide over two monitors both by ASUS.  
ASUS TUF 24" FHD 144Hz 1ms GTG IPS LED FreeSync Gaming Monitor (VG249Q) or ASUS 24" FHD 165Hz 1ms GTG TN LED G-Sync Gaming Monitor (VG248QG)?  Both are exactly $250 CDN.  I have an NVIDIA graphics card too.

TN has lower GTG response time.

IPS has much better colors and viewing angles.

 

I personally would prefer IPS anyday over TN.

Don't buy a display from Asus. They're extremely horrible regarding customer service so if anything screws up with your display you're basically SOL.

 

Look at something like a C24G1, VA display so you get best of both regarding colour
