Hi

I am having trouble with my computer shutting down when it goes into sleep mode. The computer works fine when it is on, but when i either manually put it to sleep mode or it goes automaticly goes to sleep it shuts down completely instead.

I get these errors in the eventlog when it restarts, it in norwegian but the error names are the same.

Anyone have any idea why? Picture below of my system information.

  • 2 weeks later...

Just fixed this issue in my 7 year old ASUS laptop by reflashing the bios. (Was already on most recent ver.)

I think it could either be an issue with the motherboard, PSU or bad bios just like my laptop.

Kernel- Power error 41 indicates that last shutdown was unexpected. Check if it tries to wake up when using the keyboard or mouse if it did previously to see if it entered sleep mode successfully, If it is on power off state it should only respond to the power button.

Did your build work properly before?
