Random Game Freezing

Hello, one of my computer illiterate friends is having problems with seemingly random game freezing.

We have tried moving the games to different drives, updating drivers, all the easy fixes.

He is running:

AMD Ryzen 7 1700 Eight-Core

Radeon rx 580 series

It is a omen desktop PC: OMEN by HP Desktop PC 880-p0xx

 

It happens on all games from overwatch to Minecraft.

Any help would be appreciated, and I apologize if something is wrong in this post I’m new to the forum

DDU the GPU drivers, update all BIOS/firmware/software and check for malware.
