Amd A8-3870k Not Posting :(

I have a machine with a AMD A8 APU that will not post whenever I put in my 7870. Though it will post and boot completely to Windows desktop with my GTX 280 and my GTX 660Ti. I dont have another Radeon card on hand to test, but the same 7870 will work just fine in my other machine running a AMD 8120 bulldozer. Possible solution you ladies and gent can throw my way?

i dont know the solution but why would you put an APU with a Good GPU? theres really no point for an APU then.

It's my back up machine. I had the APU before I had a GPU to put in it.

ahhk, from what im thinking the APU is conflicting with the GPU so maybe if you turn off the intergrated graphics in bios and make the GPU the primary that should work.
