Hello!

I am desperate for some help here. I am based out of Mumbai, a city that's under complete lock down, and my PC just died on me. It is no POST issue with code 00 on the MB. Since the RAM sticks aren't lighting up I am guessing its between the PSU and the MB? Please see the attached video. After some trials I was able to get the cooler and chasis fans running though.

Things that I have tried out already:

Resetting the BIOS/CMOS

Re-seating the RAM/GPU

Making sure all the cables are connected all the way through

Config:

Z370 ASROCK TAICHI

i7 8700k

COOLER MASTER MASTERLIQUID ML240L RGB Cpu Liquid Cooler

Zotac 1080ti AMP EXTREME

Corsair RGB Vengeance 16GB x 2

CORSAIR SMPS TX750M - 750 WATT 80 PLUS GOLD CERTIFICATION SEMI MODULAR PSU WITH ACTIVE PFC

SAMSUNG 960 EVO 250GB M.2 NVMe Internal Ssd (MZ-V6E250BW)

Have you recently changed anything in your system, the reason is because a 00 code for the ASRock Taichi means that the issue is with your CPU and that's not really anything anyone wants to encounter.

Another question is, when you removed your components, did you get different BIOS codes or not?

Regardless, do try this:

Turn off PC and unplug everything

Remove all RAM

Remove GPU

Use the clear CMOS pins

For good measure, remove the CMOS battery (30s to be safe) then put that back in.

Put in just your RAM

Try to turn on your PC and see if you get a different code

If the codes do change - great, now try and put your GPU back in and see what happens

Sounds crazy, but these steps do sometimes help - I've heard people have issues with resetting CMOS on the Taichi boards using the pins, so removing the battery is just to be safe.

Thanks a lot for your response! Much appreciated!

Yes, I added a 2nd secondary HDD WD 4TB but it was functioning fine. If the issue is with the CPU, any idea why the RAM sticks aren't lighting up or this can happen if the MB isn't able to detect the processor?

Again, I appreciate all the help.
