ASUS Hero board error code 99

So i'm attempting my first build, and I can't seem to get it to POST. The Q Code on the board says "99" which in the manual said something about system IO. (Not near the build right now, going to try again tomorrow.) the board has lights by the 24 pin to indicate what's wrong, and the boot drive LED is lit up. I tried removing the CMOS battery, clearing CMOS, doing a BIOS flashback, only having one stick in for RAM, not having the Graphics card plugged in, nothing works. Currently it has a mouse, keyboard, monitor, and a USB key containing windows 7 plugged into it. Nothing pops up on the screen, it just won't POST. I was incredibly careful with the build, grounding frequently. Even still don't live in a dry area, I very rarely get shocked by touching something metal in my house. I don't see what could be the issue, any ideas?

make sure all power connectors the the mobo are plugged in right. 24 pin + the 8 pin. you can also check if your display is set to output the connection you have. I.E if your using HDMI make sure your monitor is set to read HDMI.

yes the keyboard does light up. I have the 24 pin connected and the 8 pin for the processor aswell. the monitor i use to see if it boot is one i've been using with an HDMI cable for quite some time now

Hi TrueSoldier, were you able to solve this problem? I'm encountering the same issue. Asus hero VI board as well. Tried everything online but nothing worked thus far.
