Upgrade & Modding bios

So I have an Asrock Z270M-itx/ac Mobo and a G4560 and I want to upgrade so I wondered if someone has experience with modding the bios to be able to put a newer i5/i7 8th/9th gen cpu in that motherboard?

And if modding the bios is not stable to run I wanted to ask if it's worth to upgrade to a 6600k/7600k or 6700k/7700k and which one is worth more?
