So i recently OC'd my gtx660 twin frozr edition card and validated it by running kombuster for 1 hour and i didn't see any artifacts and the temps were 55 degrees on average. Now that i'm playing crysis 3 on some far away object there's a bit of dotting around them and it doesn't look like aliasing although it could be because my AA is only on SMAA 1X so is this Aliasing or an artifact? Everything closer looks fine and i've only noticed it on this one part of the game so far i've played some other bits after the OC and everything looked fine. Thanks

When i had my old 250 gts sli when playing BF3 was only game that did this once got to 80c would see white pixels kinda like snow on screen is this kinda what your getting

For me only way to solve it was to not have it oc while playing BF3

You can try playing stock to see if they show up

Also not knowledgeable about this but believe aliasing make it look smoother less pixel-y

It could definitely be a bug in the game... Back your card down to stock, run the game, and see if it is still there.  If it goes away it was an artifact and you might want to be a little more conservative on your overclock.  If it is still there, consider it a bug!  Just because you pass kombuster doesn't guarantee that an overclock is 100% stable.  You can only be a certain percent sure that approaches, but never reaches 100%!  I hope this helps

I turned all the settings to max to see if it higher AA would help and the problem was solved! So i'm guessing it's not my OC and it's just the settings I'm playing on then. Thanks allot for the replies.
