Installing new ram

Guys I want to add 8gb stick to my current 8gb stick , two different brands same type same frequency to my h310m s2h mother board , will I need to format my pc , will adding that new stick work instantly ? I'm not good at installing newer components , so please anybody help me.

It's pretty much plug and play, no formatting needed. If it doesn't work, try loading optimized defaults in BIOS prior to installing your second stick.
