7.1 Confusion!

Can someone explain to me why there are 7.1 surround sound cards but no 7.1 dedicated gaming speakers? sure, you can plug your optical into your home theater system and run it through there but not everyone wants that. Whats the give? Comment and help me here. Maybe i'm missing the big picture.

Home theater speakers are for games, movies, and music. I don't really see the point of a dedicated speaker for gaming, as most speakers work the same, but the quality varies.

I see what you mean. I just wish logitech would take there Z906 idea and expand it to 7.1. I enjoy there system, just wishing it was bigger.
