help with build review

Hey folks, i'm looking for another set of eyes, to check my current build.

I'm open for suggestions, only thing i really want from this build is this specific CPU, and some kind of an NVMe drive. rest of it i'm open for changes.

1. Budget & Location

my budget is cca 1100€ (8000kn - croatian money) (with monitor/s)

2. Aim

work, casual gaming, surfing etc.

main goal is longevity, so i can play something in 3-4-5y from now

3. Monitors

i'm on the fence with this one... atm i own an old LCD LG monitor which only has VGA+DVI connectors, so new monitor/s is/are in order.

4. Peripherals

nothing fency

5. Why are you upgrading?

old PC is threatening to turn in to a fosil or in to some oil deposits, don't wanna risk 'murica invading my apartment for fresh oil deposits.

(current pc is: core 2 quad 9550, asus P5q deluxe, 8gb ram, some random passive GPU HD6450...)

any specific reason for those changes?

i was checking out 1660, but then i went with something 'newerish'...

i picked the 1660 super, which is far better than the 5500xt, closer to 5600xt performance

that gigabyte motherboard doesn't have great vrms, especially given it's price. the msi one I picked is much much better and you will be able to upgrade to a 8 or 16 core cpu later if you wish.

the txm psu from corsair is one of the best "budget" psus out there. 550w are more than enough for your system and any future upgrades you might want.

what is your opinion on RX590 ? versus 1660s / 5500xt ?
