Current Build:

Proccesor :  Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2320 CPU @ 3.00GHz

Motherboard : Asus P8H61-M LE

CPU Cooler : Stock intel

GPU : MSI GTX1050TI 4GT OC Twin Fan

HDD : Seagate Barracuda 1TB

Case : Cooler Master Elite 311

Ram : 2x 4GB Kingston

PSU : GX 550W Bronze

Would like to change the Ram and CPU Cooler to something else more better.

For the CPU Cooler I'm planning to get the Cooler Master Hyper H411R would it be okay for this current build im having?

And for the RAM is there any recommendation for it? would like to have 16GB of ram but at a budget.

Thanks.

For what reason do you need a new CPU cooler? You have a locked CPU so you won't get very far overclocking it. You'd be better off buying a better CPU instead, the i7-2600 comes to mind.

Whatever is the cheapest DDR3 1600 you can find on eBay. Usually G.Skill ripjaws is really common.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

Wanted to change the CPU cooler cause i've been noticing my CPU temperature is getting too hot and sometimes it would shut my PC down and the stock I've been using has past more than 7 years.

The stock cooler is enough for that CPU. If your PC is getting so hot that it's shutting down, you probably need to put new thermal paste on the cooler.

I also suspect that my thermal paste is worn off but would like to change my CPU Cooler since im upgrading it little by little but anyway would this cooler be better than the stock cooler?

The Hyper 4111R is an improvement over the stock cooler, so it would be better.

You are better off buying a different, faster sandy bridge CPU (i7 2600 maybe) and some thermal paste than a new cooler. These CPU's are really cheap on the second-hand market and even may be priced similar to a cooler if not cheaper! You won't get any benefit from the cooler as you really can't OC on a H61 board. Switching the thermal compound to some thermal grizzly kryonaut or arctic mx-4 should be sufficient. You could also get some second hand RAM kit. On H61 you most probably have only 2 slots so getting any 2x 8 1600 MHz set validated by the manufacturer of the board is the way to go.

Well it all depends on your budget and whether you would want to stay on the same platform. On Sandy Bridge, an i7 2600 is the only better choice than what you currently have.
