Emulation Streaming Through Cloud? (NAS/QNAP?)

Hey there,

 

So after doing a bit of research, it looks like you can install, run and output Retroarch on/from a QNAP NAS, but there's not a ton of info on it. Up to what console generation is it able to cope with? Is it possible to stream the video output from the NAS and access it remotely?... Ideally that's what I'm looking to do. If not, could I use a Raspberry Pi or something to cloud-stream emulators via a connected NAS? ? Spit-balling but I'd be surprised if there isn't some way..
