Trying to get new RAID0 Array working

Hey guys,

So I am running an Intel 335 Series 240GB SSD and the Maximus V Formula baord with the 3770k. I recently purchased two Samsung 840 Evos 250GB and have added them to my system. I created a RAID0 array through the Intel Rapid Storage Technology manager, but when I boot up and hit desktop (through my also connected old drive) I can't find the SSDs in the Samsung Data Migration tool to clone over to the new array. So I am basically just running off of the old SSD still and can't seem to use the RAID at all. I do not have access to a Windows copy so I cannot just do a fresh install and then install everything else.

How to I get my old SSD clone over and working on my new RAID?

Samsung's software will not detect if SSD's are in RAID mode.

Check out Acronis' migration software, linked here. Very well respected software maker.

maybe the raid array is just unalloacted space and you just need to create a new volume so that windows will see the raid array? (for win 8 win and is 7 probably similar) go to computer> manage> storage> disk management> then see if there and unalloacated drive. just create a new volume and then windows should see the raid array. I dunno about the samsung software tho..

I know its a pretty simple thing so excuse me if you already knew all of that and this doesn't help at all.

linus did a video about this as well. goodluck with the migrating thing as I know thats a while other story..
