So a while back my PC had this issue where it would boot up and then switch off after 2-3 seconds and then go into a never ending cycle of booting up and then restarting.

I obviously unplugged everything and tried again with only the PSU plugged in and the problem still occured so i started removing my RAM on by one and testing each stick and slot and still nothing. I removed the GPU and switched over to onboard graphics and the problem was still there. I Opened the case and started to remove drives and fans one by one to maybe eleminate the faulty hardware but still with only one ram stick, CPU and mobo it still kept on going on and off, i then took everything out the case and tested it outside of the case and then after the 3rd reboot it booted up again so i then checked for any damaged areas on the mobo, removed the cpu and checked for bent pins maybe but i didn't expect any because the PC was running fine for months. I then proceeded to wipe the mobo with rubbing alchohol to clear any dust build up or so and then tested it again outside the case and then it booted. I started to put everything back in the case and also improved my cable management and installed all the other components (all the other components was tested in another PC and everything was fine). The problem went away and i still don't know what caused it, after moving and so i set up my PC again and all was working well for 3-4 months. I bought a UPS because we issues with power outages and so on and i usually switch it off when going to work otherwise it runs with no one there and then sometimes when switching everything on the PC does it again and then after the 5th or 6th try it goes away so i'm really confused and frustrated because i can't afford a new PC now and i still don't know what's wrong with it

Try out another PSU... Systems that did behave like that in my work environment usually had a faulty and old PSU...

Main System:

Anghammarad : Asrock Taichi x570, AMD Ryzen 7 5800X @4900 MHz. 32 GB DDR4 3600, some NVME SSDs, Gainward Phoenix RTX 3070TI

System 2 "Igluna" AsRock Fatal1ty Z77 Pro, Core I5 3570k @4300, 16 GB Ram DDR3 2133, some SSD, and a 2 TB HDD each, Gainward Phantom 760GTX.

System 3 "Inskah" AsRock Fatal1ty Z77 Pro, Core I5 3570k @4300, 16 GB Ram DDR3 2133, some SSD, and a 2 TB HDD each, Gainward Phantom 760GTX.

On the Road: Acer Aspire 5 Model A515-51G-54FD, Intel Core i5 7200U, 8 GB DDR4 Ram, 120 GB SSD, 1 TB SSD, Intel CPU GFX and Nvidia MX 150, Full HD IPS display

Media System "Vio": Aorus Elite AX V2, Ryzen 7 5700X, 64 GB Ram DDR4 3200 Mushkin, 1 275 GB Crucial MX SSD, 1 tb Crucial MX500 SSD. IBM 5015 Megaraid, 4 Seagate Ironwolf 4TB HDD in raid 5, 4 WD RED 4 tb in another Raid 5, Gainward Phoenix GTX 1060

(Abit Fatal1ty FP9 IN SLI, C2Duo E8400, 6 GB Ram DDR2 800, far too less diskspace, Gainward Phantom 560 GTX broken need fixing)

Nostalgia: Amiga 1200, Tower Build, CPU/FPU/MMU 68EC020, 68030, 68882 @50 Mhz, 10 MByte ram (2 MB Chip, 8 MB Fast), Fast SCSI II, 2 CDRoms, 2 1 GB SCSI II IBM Harddrives, 512 MB Quantum Lightning HDD, self soldered Sync changer to attach VGA displays, WLAN

Already ruled the PSU out, Tested all components with other parts and so on.

The PSU is barely a year old and is working find in another system.
