stuck between 2 laptops

Hi

I recently sold my old gaming laptop with a gtx 1050 and an i5 7300hq with 8gb of ram

i'm looking to buy a new gaming laptop for sub ~800$ and I have boiled down my options into those 2 laptops

they are both on sale and have free shipping so I have to make the decision soon because I live in the middle east and shipping is expensive

I mainly game and sometimes I take my laptop to a library or robotics competitions

i'm afraid the GTX 1650 in the MSI one is not going to cut it 

but I'm a fan of the design and it has a powerhouse CPU

on the other side i'm afraid that the R5-3550H in the ASUS will cause a bottleneck

although its cheaper i'm not a fan of its design or thickness, but i'm down to work with it 

which options is more wise and if there is any other suggestions it will be great

and no i'm done with gaming desktops so please I wont build any more of those

would still go with the TUF, the R5 3550 wont be much of a bottleneck and is no slouch either
