HELP! What should I do?

One day, I turn on my pc and hwinfo says "Warning: Current pending sector count" and "Warning:off-line uncorrectable sector count" then i installed crystaldiskinfo and it says warning. Although I haven't noticed any peformance drop in game loading time etc. I am still worried. What should I do?

I built my pc 4 months ago(all new parts) and bought the hdd from amazon(Seagate BarraCuda 2TB Internal Hard Drive HDD – 3.5 Inch SATA 6Gb/s 7200 RPM 256MB Cache 3.5-Inch – Frustration Free Packaging (ST2000DM008))24430660_Screenshot(30).thumb.png.9ede35b721623a9a57b8bae17ccfc58d.png

The highlighted(blue) lines are the ones with a yellow status mark) on crystaldiskinfo.

I did defragmant the drive, but nothing changed. Is the drive dying? should i get a new one? if yes, what brand?

The drive is mechanically failing, unfortunately.

Seagate and Western Digital are about the same in reliability, you can go with either. Your drive is also under warranty, so you could always send it in for a replacement too. That said, an SSD would be way, way more reliable.

If you choose to stick with a spinning drive, make sure it's mounted properly and that the HDD cage isn't loose to reduce the likelihood of future failures.
