So here is the issue i am faced with.

I purchased an Msi Godlike x570 motherboard along with a Ryzen 9 3950x and seem to have been struck with a major problem here.

1. I cannot install any drivers other than what the motherboard gave me, when i try to install anything the computer crashes immediately upon opening the installer.

2. I can NEVER turn my computer off because if i do windows 10 WILL NEVER BOOT BACK UP!(going on 18 times windows installations because of this issue and quite frankly im getting tired of it)

3. i cannot run a windows update either because low and behold it forces me to restart the computer and then tada Windows wont boot anymore.

i am unable to install any of the AMD video drivers other than the one the motherboard has on the drivers disk. basically with everything i am limited to upgrades. i did however get the chance to upgrade to the newest BIOS for the motherboard with some effort.

4. i cannot upgrade my .net framework from 4.6 to 4.8 as it says blocked attempt and i have found no soluitions.

aside from all that i am left with a computer that "works" as long as i keep it out of date and never turn it off. can anyone help has anyone had this problem with this motherboard before. are there any fixes that anyone knows? to no avail msi gives me some of the lamest tech support and windows.... dont even get me started on that one i wonder if any of them even know how to properly use a computer in there department.

here my my pc specs taken from speccy if you need any more info please let me know

How are you installing Windows? Are you doing it with only one storage drive plugged in?

Sorry for the late reply -- been pretty busy and this was buried under some other tabs.

Have you tried only leaving the one drive plugged in when doing installation and booting up?

Have you checked out the health of your drives with software like CrystalDiskInfo?
