ryzen 5 3600 R5 3600 post problem

So, i upgraded from my Ryzen 5 1600, to a Ryzen 5 3600 and after installing it everything worked just fine but after going in to Ryzen Master and enabling Precision Boost Overdrive in, The Ryzen Master software not in bios 

after doing that my screens wen't black and system wont post so i reinstalled my Ryzen 5 1600, and it booted up just fine. i try'ed clearing my cmos and i removed the cmos battery. non of this worked could i killed my cpu

all rgb turns on aswell

 

FYI (Motherboard is asus Prime X470 PRO)

Ram is Trident Z Neo

Gpu RTX 2060 Super

with a nzxt Kraken x52 cooler

Don't think the cpu is dead.

You should do all your overclocking in bios.

My suggestion:

In windows with the 1600 installed, open Ryzen Master and make sure you set it back to all defaults. Then Un-install it. After doing so, restart go to bios and reset all defaults there and then power off the rig. Flip the PSU switch off and clear the cmos jumper pins for 10 seconds, longer if you count fast. Then re-install the 3600. Clear the cmos one more time for good measures before first post.
