I am looking to buy a new pc and am thinking of getting a rtx 2060 super and ryzen 5 3600x and motherboard maybe asus b450 f gaming though unsure my budget is about 1000-1400 dollars

what ram (16-32 gb) and motherboard

all sounds good although something I didn't realise when I did a Ryzen 2500x build recently was the memory speed and number of channels that the CPUs support. IN my case 2933mhz / 2 channel.

 

Ryzen 5 3600X supports 3200mhz / 2 channel so 2x 16GB 3200mhz or if budget is an issue 2x8GB 3200mhz should run just fine.

Brand shouldn't matter too much as long as both sticks are the same.

 

I reckon you could also go for 3000mhz ram and xmp it to 3200 in the bios - someone correct me if I'm wrong.
