Formatting Productively

I just ordered a samsung 840 250gb to put in my sony vaio f22 laptop and want to install windows 8 on it and would like some advice how to format it in a fast, clean and productive way.

 

I formatted my laptop before and a couple of others but it always took me way too long until everything was working properly... For example the drivers, just downloading all the bastards en clicking endlessly drives me nuts... I do know about http://ninite.com/ for the basic software.

 

So do you have any tips or tricks ?

If you have a vaio laptop and wan't to install windows 8 on it, do it it's really simple just look for the windows 8 upgrade tool, it will install all the drivers for you!

 

Only problem I've got is that the FN keys aren't working.

FN keys arent working because you probably didnt install the drivers for them, they are probably currently relying on microsofts drivers to function. Go to the sony website and look for the drivers specific to your model.
