Microsoft surface pro 4 internal hard drive

I have a Microsoft Surface Pro 4.

It no longer sees the internal hard drive, either in the uefi bios or windows.

Is there a way to find it or link to it without having to take the device apart?

Samsung (MZFLV128HCGR) 128GB P951 M.2 2280 NVMe NAND SSD

 

 

I can run the device on a live windows usb 3 stick.

Once in Windows, Diskpart or disk management does not see the internal hard drive.

I would really appreciate any advice and feedback on this situation.

yeah I did try, just going round in circles. As the device is out of warranty
