Gt 640 (heavy overclock)

140mm intake and outtake and wait a minute for the case

How old are all the components? Did you buy them new?

Acually from a friend that barely used them

and said he didn't need them so he gave them to me.

Do you know which component is overheating? Have you used a program like HWmonitor to check?

Its the cpu but the gpu is also running on 85 - 90 C°

From someone who has owned a 8350 they run hot, what CPU cooler are you using and when was the last time thermal compound was applied. And are you sure a overclock wasn't set in the BIOS for the CPU when your friend had it?

Also since the GPU is older it may need new thermal compound but you will also need to make sure there is good airflow in your case with a heavy overclock on it, especially with both of those components pumping out hear if there is not enough airflow in and out of the case it will just cause everything to overheat, take it from me, I had 2 R9 290x and a 8350 at one point and time.

you should go into the motherboard BIOS and increase the fan speeds. If the parts are overheating it means you probably are not getting proper airflow.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Tried but didn't work.

if the fans are spinning real fast and it's still overheating, something else is wrong. Are you smothering the fan intakes?

That is the thing. The fans aren't spinning but they spinned on one of my other PCs. I don't get it

With the fans not spinning, sounds like a potential defect with the motherboard
