New laptop

So, I returned my surface pro 7 due to bugs. I got $850 US dollars back. What laptop would you recommend that doesn't pass $850? I will use mainly for school. I will rate what is most important for me to what is least important:

 

1. Keyboard
2. Specs (must be 10th gen i5 or higher, at least 8gb ram and 128gb SSD)
3. Trackpad
4. Weight
5. Touchpad
6. Thinness
7. Ports
8. OS

What are your suggestions? I can use Costco and Amazon.

The screen should be #1 man. There are still many laptops which ship with butt ugly 720p screens with faded colors! Most laptops are pretty thin and light anyways (unless you get an absolute unit of a gaming/workstation machine). 

 

Specs... they don't matter much. Just get a core i5 from the last 2~3 years with an SSD and 8gb of RAM. 

 

Honestly, the best advice I can give you is good to a store which sells laptops and check out the screens mostly.
