I’ve recently built a pc (Ryzen 3600/RTX 2070).  I was wondering if I should buy an ASUS 165hz 24” G-Sync compatible monitor for $300, or an Alienware 240hz Freesync monitor for $340(its refurbished so that’s why it’s cheap).  If I have an NVIDIA gpu, should I go for the 165hz g sync monitor, or opt for the very slightly more expensive 240hz monitor, without Any anti-screen tearing Hardware Alienware monitor?

I normally would get the 240hz moniter the higher hertz (in my opinion) is better even for the extra $40. But I’m pretty sure the Alienware 240hz moniter is 1080p vs the Asus 165hz being 1440p. Alienware generally makes expensive products. If the Asus one is 1440p I would get that.
