Intel vs AMD

Hello,

 

Many people have been talking about the impressive new AMD CPUs recently. However, I am just wondering how AMD stacks up next to Intel when one considers intels c++/fortran compilers, along with the intel mkl libraries. If someone could share some insight (or a link) which compares the math librariers of AMD and Intel, that would be fantastic!
