could use some advice

so i have an ASUS M5A97 R2.0 Motherboard and a AMD FX(tm)-6300 six core and a gtx 950 old PC but still games alright im looking to upgrade the GPU. Will my motherboard and cpu be alright to upgrade to say a gtx 1650 and see better fps or am i looking for a whole new system all together?

there is nothing wrong with the fx6300, i would get a 1660 but up to you. after that you can upgrade the board and proc, the ram you can reuse for a little bit same as the drives.

Depends if he goes to am4 or similar (new gen basically) than he’ll need to change ram as well. Am3 supports ddr3
