I just recently started to notice that my ram usage went up without any apparent reason and my PC started to lag and even to freeze, something that never happened before. So i did some digging and found out this strange behavior using RAMMap something i couldn't see with a task manager. So my question is, is it a memory leak? If so what can be the cause of that? Because i see A LOT of those processes and the list just keeps on growing over time with the same process eating even more ram.

Any help will be appreciated.

The file name looks like SpatialAudio(something) so my guess is the driver for your sound card has sprung a leak and keeps spawning new threads. What are your system specs, in particular what is your audio card (and associated programs running for sound)

I am using a laptop, Lenovo legion y740.

I7 9750h

RTX 2070max q

32 gb of ram.

Where do I have to look for my audio card? I am also using Dolby access and a steel series engine for my arctis 7 headphones.

Device Manager. I'd start by seeing if there is an updated driver for your audio card.

Dolby access

What does this do?

And what does this do? In other words, if you turn that and the Dolby one off, does your system still function as normal? Assuming you can turn it on and off, that is...

Dolby acsses it's for a surrounded sound effect. I'll try it out and report if anything changes.
