GPU Led to RGB Controller

Hello,

I am planning to connect my Palit 1070TI Jetstream GPU led to an RGB controller. Is there a connector/adaptor I can buy to convert the 4 pin GPU led to a standard 4 pin RGB header like the ones on fans and RGB strips?

Not sure what its called in english. 

 

Are there any downsides to controlling the RGBs via the motherboard, or anything special to watch?
