Router advice

We are a family of 5 with lots of devices(5 cell phones, 2 PC's, 3 ps4, 2 Chrome cast, 2 rokus.... And a shit tone more). I'm currently using a Linksys ea8500, since there last firmware update, it keeps randomly settings a wifi device to ethernet. I've already went thru customer support without any luck since I'm out of warranty. So basically, what I want to know is if there's a fix for the ea8500 or if I should get a new router. And if the best solution is a new router, which one is the best?

Hi there , i dunno ur budget but recently i bought an Asus RT AX88U and it works like a charm ...it has 8 gb lan ports and wifi is pretty fast too plus it support the Ax format if u guys have last gen cell will work even faster with my network i got 30% increase in wifi speed...with normal Ac not even Ax  also with Aimesh u can easly put another router to get more coverage ... before i had netgear but firmware updates are pretty poor ....
