Overclocking 2700

Hello All 

 

i am fairly new to the pc over clocking game. I need some help to boost up my 2700 clock speeds. I am currently in the midst of deciding to get a cm 212 black (non RGB) or an aio (probably h100???). I don’t know. I need help choosing. I’m not expecting much over clock head room. Although the vendor at micro center told me I can get to 4.1 ghz on the stock cooler. I knew that was almost impossible. However, I can’t seem to over clock it past 3.30 ghz. I’ve searched up other people’s clocks and setups. Most of them had aftermarket coolers but I’m still not expecting anything crazy. Highest on the stock maybe 3.6 ghz (that’s a guess)
