Usb C hub

I bought a usb c hub for my lenovo thinkpad e590 and the power pass through and usb ports work but the hdmi, vga and RJ45 port does not work. Any ideas?

One. I got no idea if it’s right. I kinda hope it’s not because if it is you’re going to hate it.

Think pad laptops are supposed to have an unrecoverable bug with thunderbolt going back to 2017 that often requires a motherboard swap. might be worth checking into just to rule out.

My Laptop does not have Thunderbolt support
