I just realised what my problem was, its was a MBR instead of a GPT

I have a raid 10 using a highPoint Rocket 640L with 4 x seagate baracuda's (all the same) 2tb ea. And this is happening (refer to image) im running the OS on a seperate drive, and no matter what i do, i cant make the 2nd unallocated space a partition, even using a live linux cd part magic. please help (WHS2011)
