Have you tried to give the game more memory? Mods take up a large amount of RAM so letting Java use more could help.

It would also help if you could tell us what mods you are using.

PC:

AMD Ryzen 9 5900X | AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE | 32 GB RAM | Arch Linux

Laptop:

MacBook Pro 13" (2019) | Intel Core i5 8279U | 8 GB RAM | macOS

When the frame drops happen, is garbage collection running? When it stutters keep an eye on whether the memory usage in Minecraft on the F3 screen creeps up and then suddenly drops.

Shouldn't 100 fps be alot? when i play with 70 fps i already feel like a god in pvp and also since you have 180 flipping mods it will lag alot

Dude, Ill tell you from now

running 100+ of anything on any home PC is not the right way to go if you want good fps and no game stuttering...

Maybe try not running that many at one time??

I know its not optimal but hardware can only go so far :)

I've played mods like crazy craft and haven't had an issue personally.....maybe that mod pack isn't so.....dense?
