Hey guys

I currently have 16GB of ram with a 4 4 4 4 configuration.

I really want to remove two of the stick and buy two sticks with 16gb each.

The 4gb stick have a speed of 2400MHz (PC4-19200)

The new 2x16gb  have a speed of 2666 MHz (PC4-21300)

I know it will be downlocked to the slowest speed but the 4gb stick automatically overclocks to 2666MHz

Wil it be downlocked and will it work?
