wifi not working right

hi guys am having so problems with my notebook wifi so it wont connect to my router and says that its not the right password when it is and then ill have to press the button on the router then it will work but then after a bit it will disconnect and says the computer dose not have the right password to connect so ill have to connect with a wire but after a bit the wifi would work any body any idea what could be up I have an hp pavilion with an realtek rtl8188ee card

Are you sure you're pressing the WPS button? Does your notebook even support WPS? Maybe it's asking for a PIN which is on the button of the router.

yeah am sure ill press it and it would say cant connect and sometimes it will not sure what to do

reboot the device, clear the remembered networks, if that does not help the AP  may be going bad and depending on age it might be time to find a new box
