Hey everyone, I know there are not alot of choices for a mini ITX am4 motherboard but I am really tight on space and want to do a mini itx 3600x build. Anyone have recommendations? I am not planing on doing any overclocking or anything crazy, I just want a really decent mini ITX board for my 3600x build. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

There are unfortunately no Max versions of MSI boards for ITX right now so budget recommendations aren't easy. What are you looking to spend?

Also make sure to quote people so we can see your responses

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

You could go with the MSI B450I Gaming Plus, but there's a chance (not guaranteed) that it won't work with 3rd gen without a BIOS update that requires an older CPU to do.

I am not looking to break the bank on a motherboard, I would like to keep it under $200.00 USD and obviously if the 3000 RTX card rumors are true I may be looking for pci-e 4.0 after all.

I was actually looking at the board just a few minutes ago lol. I do have a 2nd gen cpu I could take out of my other computer to toss in the board to just update the bios so no worries there.

According to Buildzoid, a RTX 2080TI can run on a 8x slot without much performance loss (within %s). its highly unlikely the RTX 3080ti would need 4x the bandwidth to the motherboard.

Specs

Ryzen 7 3700x | X570 Aorus Pro Wifi | 32GB (16x2) 16-16-16-36 G.Skill Trident Z RGB | MSI Gaming X Trio RTX 2080ti
