So basically my new flat complex got fiber, they are using cat6 lan cables to wireless ac wifi thingies, so what I want to know is, is the price of a wireless ac adapter(over usb3) going to worth the price?

 

(ps: currently in SA the price for that adapter is R1000($100))

It is. But you won't see any difference in internet speed.

AC wireless is much more usefull if you manage an inhome network to transfer data from one device to another (e.g. NAS, HTPC, phone).

Internet is probably 100Mbit/s with fibre and wireless n is about 300Mbit/s (or 450Mbit/s idk exactly).

Wireless ac is 1300Mbit/s i think.

its 10g/bit fiber, so at most i would be able to use the around 1gbit of ac, will i notice a speed difference in my usenet downloads?

Realistically? You'll notice a difference from before fiber and after fiber. Between Dual N and AC, I doubt you'll notice a different apart from doing a "look guise look how fast dis is".
