Why do y'all have so many issues? I've been sleeping my computers for the past decade with the only problems being user error. Just make sure your sleep state in BIOS is like, 3 and make sure your turn off all wake timers and wake on lan and shit. Do you use the power button to wake your machine from sleep? I use the high performance profile in Windows, which I modified to not turn the hard drive off. There might be some other underlying issue here. What programs do you have open when sleeping? Maybe run memtest86 to see if your ram is bad.

The only time I recall the PC having trouble waking up from sleep was mostly a hardware/firmware issue. One of them I recall was due to the RAM being shoddy, even though it passed memTest. The other was because of a UEFI update. If the computer has trouble staying asleep, there are ways to figure out what's causing it.
