Independent Web Hosts

I am trying to find an independent server. I was looking at WebHostPython (based in Florida, USA), but wanted to ask if anyone has recommendations or a list of others I can research. Thank you in advance! :)

If you mean a service that allows you to dump your files via ftp, I don't know any.

I like Vultr and Digitalocean for VPS hosting, meaning a linux box in which I install the server, put the files, and maintain
