Materialize Css Help? Sidenav

Hi folks,

 

Trying to add a persistent sidenav to my webpage.

 

When I say persistent I mean its always there even when the screen gets smaller. Currently as soon as I get the screen to medium the sidenav goes away. I've searched and search for the help to get this behavior and I ain't got nothin'.

 

Please help, the Materialize CSS docs aren't helping much either
