Intel XEON E3-1270v2

I have a doubt about the XEON E3-1270v2, I have one on a machine with the motherboard ASROCK B75-DGS R2.0 and see the processor constantly at speeds like 3.8Ghz and even without constant activity I would like help with this case, there is no OC profile in this machine

Check windows power mode. In performance mode I believe it is forcing cpu to constantly work 100%, you can change this in advance settings

There was a very similar case on the forum recently where the problem was some software running in the background. It didn't need a lot of processing power but kept the CPU turboing. Just check Taskmanager and see whether you have such an application.

Thanks for the help friends!! I removed this motherboard and formatted it on a bench with windows 7 just for testing and with all updated drivers and bios also noticed this somewhat strange behavior

The way is to ask ASROCK for help !
