One Action Fullscreen / VR weirdness...

So i bought a One Action a few weeks ago and i love it, only problem i have is the Screen software, and the software they use for fullscreen applications. Whenever i play google cardboard or any type of vr app, it first of all looks SHIT. Secondly, i get this suuuuper weird blackbar on the left side of the screen, and most of the time. how come it doesnt use the entire screen, including the area around the camera, so it dosnt f**k everything UP! The White Line is suppose to show the MIDDLE of the entire screen, but the software tells it not to use the area around the camera, and therefore makes everything else look weird. HOW DO I FIX IT??

Ah ok, yeah i saw that some time ago, and i thought i might search a bit more to see if there are anyything i could do before trying to root it. One of my friends (who have rooted a lot of phones) are coming over today, so he might try helping me with it, cause i dont understand much and dont wanna risk me fucking something up.
