CS:GO Stuttering Problems

Hi guys I recently got back into playing CS:GO and have been having trouble with stutters within the game. It even stutters in the menus sometimes, however the stutters are never consistent. I average around 200 FPS but it doesn't look like it. I contacted steam support and they asked to send screenshots when it happens and they couldn't help me. I included what they said in a screenshot below. I have up to date drivers and my problem only happens in CS:GO , and I make sure everything except for Google hangouts is closed when I play. I included screenshots of when it stutters as well. Steam support suggested an upgrade to my computer or that it had something to do with the var being to high.Capture.thumb.PNG.4041c6908bf10098ef7d7d1aca057ef4.PNG

CS:GO is highly CPU bound. That CPU might be slightly bottlenecking in the game and causing the stutters. What settings are you playing on? I found that using higher settings in a CPU-bound situation can reduce stuttering as it loads the GPU more and allows the CPU to "breathe" a bit.

Workstation:

Intel Core i7 6700K | AMD Radeon R9 390X | 16 GB RAM

Mobile Workstation:

MacBook Pro 15" (2017) | Intel Core i7 7820HQ | AMD Radeon Pro 560 | 16 GB RAM

I play with everything on high. I'll try it out on lower settings and get back to you on performance

I played some deathmatch and still experienced the stutters on medium-low settings. At the same time as the stutters the VAR shot up to 20 ms.

Have you tried updating your graphics drivers? You might want to use the "Factory Reset" option when updating them.
