It seems everyday i'm having problems with my computer ?

So hey y'all! I recently booted using my newly bought monitor. It has a Dvi single link adaptor. It runned fine before i installed the amd ryzen drivers from the website. But, after that it restarted and prompt me with a "INSPUT NOT SUPPORTED" since i only have a single link cable the max supported res is 1980x1080

So I'm guessing the vega drivers applied a higher res for my pc.

So, how can i set it to my max res of my monitor?

Likely it was working at default with no drivers. Probably weren’t getting full resolution.

what are the models of the gpu and monito in question?

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Good to see you again dude!

I'm trying to use the integrated gpu from my RYZEN 3 2200G but I only see Basic Display Drivers. Oh, and i resolved my input issue by running the amd driver cleanup in safe mode and wiping all the drivers i installed. Now i have basic display drivers but no Vega 8 graphics. Trying to install the windows updates as my Windows 10 has a build of 17763

I might not be glad to see me if my computer was continuing to have problems and the person involved didn’t solve them.  I’ll do what I can though.
I’m afraid I don’t remember a whole lot about the problems you were having.

So the Vega 8 drivers are gone.  I don’t know a great deal about win10 I’m afraid so the build number may be significant but I don’t know if it is or not.  The 2200g is a current chip but runs an older set of CPUs in it.  I would suspect the most current version of win10 would likely work the best which might be that one.  I don’t know.

you will need drivers for anything to work.  The newest drivers from AMD are probably the ones you want.  Sometimes they misinstall.

there are several types of dvi.  It is an old legacy port type and can be either analog or digital depending on type.

which monitor and motherboard again?
